It’s almost that time, time for the midseason premieres of two of the CW’s hottest shows, The Vampire Diaries and The Secret Circle.

The Vampire Diaries is set to have one heck of a second half to its season.  Everyone in Mystic Falls better watch their backs, because Klaus is out for revenge and no one is safe.

If TVD wasn’t hot enough already, things are going to get even hotter between Damon and Elena.  The romantic tension between these two is at an all-time high.

And here’s a major spoiler alert for you, one of your favorite cast members is going to be saying bye-bye to Mystic Falls…maybe forever.

Strap on your seatbelt, it’s going to be a wild second half.  Tune in Thursday, January 5th at 8pm only on Dayton’s CW.

The premiere of The Secret Circle picks up right where it left off before its midseason hiatus.

The episode is entitled, “Darkness,” and it’s no surprise that Cassie learning of her Dark Magic background is at the forefront of the episode’s plot.

In this episode Cassie finds out a lot of powerful and disturbing things.  We get a glimpse into what Cassie is really capable of.

We are also introduced to a new cast member.  “Friday Night Lights” stud, Grey Damon, appears as Lee Labeque.  Lee is a grifter who dabbles in Dark Magic.  He has special links in the supernatural world that will definitely help some members of the circle.
